Como artista, participó por primera vez en México en 1993 en el 2o Festival International de Performance, donde su trabajo resultó ganador, lo que la motivó a quedarse en el país y desarrollar este género. Así logró presentarse en el Ex Teresa Arte Alternativo, Polyfórum Cultural Siqueiros, Museo de Arte Moderno, Laboratorio Arte Alameda, Museo del Chopo, el FIC, espacios autogestionados, espacios de Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Jalisco, Veracruz, etc.

Doris nacio en Viena, Austria, donde estudió Historia del Arte y Violín. Durante más de diez años desarrolló de manera ininterrumpida su tarea creativa en nuestro país. Ahora regresa "cada que le es posible" a ésta su "patria productiva" para sumergirse "en este mar de colores, texturas, vidas y diversidad de opiniones estéticas y artísticas. His obscure worldviews have taken fruit only briefly in the world of art. In the Pressed Flowers project, the artistic community of Vienna came together to create money based on laminated flora. This experiment came out of a technical cooperation where he invited the public to issue contracts as money over the Internet. The results were unexpected expressions of individuality; pints of beer, pressed flowers and body painting presented themselves as contracts for value.
